Service
Amelia is a goof ball, she always brings a smile to my face. Dogs are known to reduce anxiety in humans.
It all started when…
I got diagnosed with PTSD six years back.
I began to notice that I was constantly on edge, expecting and fearing the worst, and my anxiety was severely negatively impacting my quality of life.
I knew that my dog naturally provided relief from my worst symptoms. I learned to teach my dog specific behaviors that they could do to ground me, to pull me out of an anxiety attack, to keep me safe and grounded.
Amelia has been a Service Dog in Training ever since.
I do not provide certification or training for service.
I can help teach you how to utilize your furry friend to help reduce your stress and anxiety.
ANXIOUS DOG? No problem
Dogs, especially urban dogs, often deal with a fair amount of anxiety; from overwhelming smells, to loud noises, to fireworks, to crowds of screaming children, navigating the city with a anxious dog is no easy task. I can teach you how to build your dog’s confidence by encouraging them to face their fears, and come out on the other side unscathed, and braver than ever.
